A no-entry sign in Fyn Harbour

It was taken while waiting for the ferry to Fyn. Beside the strong red colour signal the photo offers a great 'Waiting for Godot' atmosphere - which is the real story of that composition.

My photographic purpose was to have the signal coloured sign as an eye catcher. The photo itself is the relatively boring area with these two people 'waiting for Godot'. That's the story. The sign is only 'covering' the real story behind it. And so I am very happy that the sign is not perfect straight but gives some tension to that photo composition. In my opinion to get that quiet waiting effect the sign must be centered.

Ein "Verbot der Einfahrt" Schild in Fynhaven

Das Foto wurde beim Warten auf die Fähre nach Fünen aufgenommen. Neben dem starken roten Eye-Catcher Signal bietet das Foto auch eine grossartige 'Warten auf Godot' Atmosphäre - das eigentliche Thema der Aufnahme.
